Kellye R. Whitaker, MBA

As an industry advisor, Kellye focuses on helping our founders tell their stories to the right audience at scale. She is part of our due diligence and fractional executive support team, strategist, connector, and fixer. Seasoned with outstanding project planning, execution, monitoring, and resource balancing with the ability to support multiple simultaneous projects in a matrix organizational Structure.
Kellye is currently the Assistant Director, NCGrowth-SmartUp South Carolina - University of NC at Chapel Hill. In this role she leverages human and data resources of NCGrowth, the Kenan Institute of Private Enterprise, Kenan-Flagler Business School, the UNC system, and regional partners to accelerate high-growth companies in the Region. She is also responsible for identifying and managing local strategic partnerships that include economic development organizations, corporate partners, and government agencies.
